Sometimes you don’t hear a song for absolutely years and then you hear it for the first time and instead of bringing you the hope like it used to, instead you look back and it just brings a hint of sadness. When you are a kid, your first crushes are a big deal – I remember my first major ones because I wrote about it a lot in my school diaries.

I used to always turn to music to deal with these feelings and one of my first big crushes at age 12 I listened a lot to Steps. It was weird hearing this song after all these years as it reminded me that I used to listen to this song and really rely on these words hoping that they would come true.

It is funny looking back – I always used to believe that music would help turn things true – it may not of done it but it was weird to remember that time again.
