Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
M&M CINNAMON
I realised the other day that we haven’t looked at different flavours of M&Ms for a long time on this particular article, so I thought that we would delve back into the world of this chocolate and have a look at a flavour that was released over 13 years ago.
In 2011, it was announced that for a limited time you would be able to purchase a brand new flavour for the winter time – M&M Cinnamon flavour.
The chocolate was an exclusive for the grocery store Target and it combined the flavours of milk chocolate with cinnamon. The candy shells were three different colours – red, deep red and maroon. They could be purchased either as a 9.9 ounce or a 12 ounce bag for a starting price of $2.99.
There are positive reviews online of these candies with praise being given to the subtle cinnamon flavour.
