Ticket Outta Loserville – Son Of Dork

Today we are delving into a song that was released by a band that was created and starred a member of Busted. The band wasn’t around for very long however it is also part of a musical that was also created by the Busted member and has lead to it being successful globally. Let’s start with the single.

Ticket Outta Loserville was the debut single by the British pop punk band Son of Dork, a band that featured Busted’s James Bourne, Steve Rushton, David Williams, Chris Leonard and Danny Hall.

Ticket Outta Loserville was released on the 7th November 2005, it was written by James Bourne, Charlie Grant and Pete Woodroffe. It was produced by Gill Norton and released on the record label of Mercury. The single came off of the album Welcome to Loserville which was also released in 2005.

The single did reasonably well in the charts and went to number 3 in the UK and number 15 in Ireland.

Loserville is a musical that was created by James Bourne and Elliot Davis and it was originally created for Music Theatre UK. The musical is based on the story of the album of Son Of Dorks and has been performed in the US and the UK.
