Everybody Knows The Claus Hanson

Today we are heading back to the nineties to a Christmas song you may not remember was actually released by a brother boy band or for some of you, may of never heard of it before.

In the nineties, the American band Hanson were a big deal. So when it came to them releasing a Christmas album, you know it was going to do really well. On the 18th November 1997, they released the holiday album Snowed In. In the United States it was the best selling holiday album of the year selling 863,000 copies. It was released on the record labels of Mercury and Polygraph.

The album was full of a lot of covers but there was one track that was written by the band themselves – Everybody Knows The Claus. The aim of the song was to bring the festive feel of Christmas to people. They also wanted it to be a song that everyone would sing along to.

The song is upbeat and a song that you must enjoy this season.
