Your latest single you have released:

No Other is the fourth single release from my new album Clichés, which came out at the start of November. It captures falling for someone in a dramatic, head over heels way, and has a fairy-tale themed music video to match. I had a lot of fun making the song and video and am glad to finally put it out there!

Your first single and how you felt when it was released:

Let Me Know was my first single released at the start of 2022! I felt a lot of relief at getting back into my passion of creating my own music and being able to share it with the world. I was super excited about all the tracks I’d been working on and the journey ahead.

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

There are so many and they are all dear to me in different ways! However, I’m really looking forward to the title track Clichés, from the new album. It’s an exciting new sound to me and brings together the album as a whole.

Your favourite song to play live:

Probably Outside, because it reminds me of the good times we had making the music video running around in the cold in Melbourne!

The song that was the longest to write and why?

The song “Find Me” on the album originally had different lyrics as the first version was written as a duet! So in turning it back into a solo format, it ended up being over a year before the second version was created and finished. Maybe a third version will be written some day!

Your most emotional track:

Emotional is my MO but of the new album, I would say Evaporated springs to mind. This song is all about a cathartic moment and flood of emotions.

The best lyric you have ever written:

Maybe you’re shy now, you’re so laconic
But baby your vibes are super platonic

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

Excitement and happiness!

The hardest track to play live:

They’re actually all ok because I didn’t want to release anything that would be impossible to recreate live!
