Doctor Pressure – Mylo vs Miami Sound Machine

Today we look at a song that was really popular when it was released and when we talk about it – you may remember it as well. Doctor Pressure was a song released by Mylo and Miami Sound Machine on the 5th September 2005.

The track was released on the record labels of Sony BMG and Breastfed. It was written by Myles MacInnes and Elias Enrique Garcia and it was also produced by MacInnes as well. The song was part of the debut album Destroy Rock & Roll which was released in 2004.

The song samples Miami Sound Machines 1984 hit Dr Beat. The song did really well in the charts and went into the top 5 in the United Kingdom (3), UK Dance Chart (1), Ireland (5), Belgium Dance chart (2) and the Australian Dance (2). The song became certified silver in the United Kingdom and sold over 200,000 units.

I remember this song when it was released as it was always on the radio and always on television. There was no escaping it and that was why I personally was not a fan of it. However, I can understand why it was popular.
