How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the Camden fringe?
I decided to choose something simple that defines the nature of the show. In a wedding, you normally hear the words “I do”, but Carmen is not too sure that she wants to marry Steve…
Tell us a little bit about your style of show?
You can expect silly jokes, a funny story and a bit of clowning. And an ukulele!!!!
What will your set be about?
“Maybe I do…?” Is a comedy show about a young Spanish woman who is getting married to an English guy by Zoom videocall, but she is in love with another guy…
What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?
I am very interested in everything related to comedy, especially solo shows and clown theatre!
Have you done the fringe before? What have been some of your favourite shows to date and why?
I have performed at the Camden fringe before, at 2019 with my play “Ready, Steady… Co*k!” And it was a great experience.
What advice would you give to others who want to perform at Camden Fringe next year?
I would say that they should start organizing everything quite early so then, in the last few weeks can focus entirely it the performance and rehearsals.
What is the best thing about performing at the Camden fringe?
The exposure, meeting other performers and the atmosphere!
London can be an expensive place to perform in – what key advice would you give to performers that is a sort of life hack?
Uy! That´s a bit tricky! Haha. I do not have advice for myself! I guess I tried to save as much money I could and invest the money I earned doing other performances in this one.
What are your three favourite things about Camden?
People.
Art.
Culture.
Favourite one liner you have done in a show and why?
I can’t tell you that… it will be a spoiler of the show! Haha
Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?
I am sure you won’t expect that… Tim Burton! I am a huge fan of him and I became an actress partly because of him. Having him as an audience member would it be one of the best things that would happen to me!
The iconic image of the Camden Fringe is the Pigeon – if you could call this years pigeon a name to represent its style what would it be and why?
I would make a Shakespearian reference… it looks like it can be called “Himleot!” (A combination between Hamlet and Pigeon…. No?… ok… ha ha)
If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?
It´s funny, relatable
