He Said She Said – Ashley Tisdale

There was a time when some members of the original High School Musical cast had solo pop music careers. Today we are looking at a single that was released by Ashley Tisdale.

On the 15th January 2017 Tisdale released the single He Said She Said. The track was written by J R Rotem, Evan Kidd Bogart and Ryan Tedder. It was released under the record label of Warner Brothers and produced by J R Rotem. The song came from Ashely’s debut album that was called Headstrong and released the same year.

The song was initially released on digital download and then it was later released as an official single. The song reached the top 30 in a handful of countries including Austria (21), Germany (17) and the US Hot Dance Club Charts (21). The song turned certified gold in the United States. In the United Kingdom charted at number 155.

The song received mixed reviews from the press – some commented though on how catchy it was. I heard it for the first time recently and I am not sure if I like it but I can imagine that it would fit into High School Musical as it has a similar sound to it.
