Sometimes, when you head to London, it can be really difficult to sometimes find somewhere to eat as there is so much choice, especially when it comes to being near a train station, you can fall into heading to a chain or to a quick option near the platform. Well today we look at a place you may want to consider the next time you are in Kings Cross.
Beer + Burger has a number of different locations including Dalston and Willesden but because I went to the Kings Cross one, we are going to focus on that one. Beer + Burger is a restaurant that is located at 1 York Way, about a ten minute walk from the station over the canal. It is a place that does not just make food but also sells a lot of craft beer from Independent breweries.
Before we speak about the food, we are going to have an in depth look at some of the craft beers that are on offer. The craft beers on tap change frequently so you will have to look at the menu to see what is on offer the day that you visit. Some of the independent breweries they support include Vault City Brewery, Deya, Floc, Standard Brewing Co. and The Kernal Brewery London to name a few.
Another thing that the location prides itself on is it’s food and whilst most of the menu is burgers (both meat and plant based) there are also a number of interesting sides including crunch jalapeno cheese balls, Seoul wings, mac bites and dirty fries to name a few.
I enjoyed my visit to the location and found the food enjoyable. I do not drink beer so I can not personally comment on the flavour however my friend had a few and really enjoyed the taste!
