Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
M&M WHITE CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW CRISPY TREAT
If there is one thing America is really good at, then that is creating new flavours of chocolate and candy that you cannot believe actually exist. Well, of March of this year M&Ms announced a flavour that was to be released just in time for Easter to ‘tickle’ the tastebuds.
For the Easter holidays, M&M announced the release of White Chocolate Marshmallow Crispy Treat, a candy that was available in various sizes from various grocery stores.
The treat has a crispy rice middle which seemed unusual for the candy, it is then encased in a white chocolate and a light blue, beige or yellow coating – all themed on spring. They could be purchased for $4.99 or $2.89 depending on what size you purchased.
The chocolate has relatively positive reviews online with critics praising the favour of the treat.
