It is finally coming into summer which means one thing – the festival season is JUST around the corner! In June we are going to wet your appetite and speak to an improviser who is taking shows to some of these – Lee Apsey. If you have not heard of Lee you would of definitely of heard of the groups that he is a part of – CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation and Your Flaws The Musical – both these two shows are proving to be a success at comedy festivals over and over again.

This month, Lee takes us behind of the two teams, plus much more, to give us an insight into the world of performing in shows such as these. We discuss everything from rehearsal, to improv, to warming up and there will be a lot of fun and informative information along the way.

Whilst we are celebrating Lee Apsey this month, we are also celebrating something else – our eighth year as a website! Thank you for all of those that have been there from the start and thank you to those who have joined us along the way. One of the things that we are doing to celebrate this is starting a new interview feature called A Quick Conversation with… where we ask band and musicians a few tough questions about the world of music.

Due to the fact that it is out birthday month, keep an eye out as I am sure there will be some surprises along the way.
