There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Until The Time Is Through – 5ive

Today we are heading back to the era of the boyband, and looking at the first slow song that the pop group 5ive released. It is one of my favourite tracks by the group so it was obvious that I had to write about it in this article at some point.

Until The Time Is Through was the sixth single to be released off of the band 5ives debut album which was titled the same thing as the band. The track was released on the 16th November 1998 and was written by Max Martin and Andreas Carlsson. The song was released on the record label of RCA and BMG. The difference between this track to the ones before is that Richie and Scott take the lead vocals. 

The song did relatively well in the charts and went into the top 10 in the UK (2), Spain (2), Ireland (3) and Australia (8). The track also went certified silver in the United Kingdom as it sold over 200,000 copies and Gold in Sweden where it sold over 150,000.

As mentioned before, I really liked this song by 5ive and it was a track that I listened to a lot when it came out. I thought it was a nice contrast from the other songs that the band had before and it is a great addition to the album.
