Your latest single you have released:

Rabbit was the last taste from our debut LP ”YES!”, which was released a few weeks after in May 2022.

Your first single and how you felt when it was released:

Ozzie: Our first single is “Living Sound” from the EP “Horses Wearing Horses” (2018). I personally felt that we finally concocted a half decent song, and I wasn’t even embarrassed to release it! That was something completely new to me, since I suffer from a severe case of the imposter syndrome. And to be honest we weren’t that great back then… Still learning not to give a fuck, but I can’t help it. I care too much about this band. 

Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:

Jake: That’s a difficult one since my best songs are yet to be released. Maybe ”Summer Night” by my first band, Too Hot for Radio. However, we were pretty young and inexperienced back then and didn’t have much money so the production is not that good.

Your favourite song to play live:

 Jake: I’ll go with ”Burden”, just to piss off Ozzie if nothing else (he doesn’t like playing that song).

Your most emotional track:

Ozzie: That would be “Tears To Rivers” from our album “YES!”.  It’s a song about me and my dad finding out about the painful truth of our separation. All is good for now, the pain is in the past. 

The best lyric you have ever written:

Ozzie:  “pa pa pa pa paa, pa pa pa pa paa” You’ll get to hear that on our upcoming EP. Stay tuned for the release date! 

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

Jake: Maybe a bit nervous, since usually there are new faces who don’t know what to expect and therefore I wanna nail it. Also relieved, since all the little adjustments are (mostly) over and it’s time to enjoy.

Ozzie: A little bit anxious for a tiny bit, since I’m such a neurotic piece of shit. Then it turns into energy and drive. And when I get on the stage it’s just business as usual. It usually helps to remind yourself that this is what you chose. These are the consequences of those dreams you’re trying to achieve. So, suck it up or go home! 

The hardest track to play live:

 Jake: The second verse of ”Away Today”. Ozzie is singing there so I thought it was a good idea to write a bit more challenging bassline. However, the song is so fast it’s difficult to stay on track. But what can I say, practice makes perfect.

Essential items you always take on tour with you?

 Jake: Toothbrush since I get anxious if I skip brushing my teeth even once. Also some beer made by my former employer Maku Brewing because it’s by far the best brewery in Finland. It means taste!

Ozzie: Toothbrush, First Aid Kit, band equipment (DUH!), my victorinox, plenty of underwear. 

Describe your fans in three words:

Jake: Drunk, goofy, beloved.

A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:

Ozzie: Barbie Girl by Aqua, I refuse to elaborate! 

What we can look forward to from your band this year:

Ozzie: There’s going to be: studio sessions, regular sessions, touring, gigs, alchoholism, an EP, content on top of more content, rehab updates, music videos, festivals, merchandise, MORE MORE MORE! WE’RE GONNA DO IT ALL!
