  • When Catherine Keener was cast, Steve Carell told Judd Apatow that her casting had legitimized the film’s credibility.
  • The producers were planning to have a sequel by the name of “Knocked Up”, with almost the same cast. But in the end, they released Knocked Up (2007) as a separate movie not related to this one.
