Forgotten Songs! – This Week -Here (In Your Arms)

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Here (In Your Arms) – Hellogoodbye

Today we are heading back to the early noughties to look at an Indie track that was really popular at that time and when I was in college, I remember that this song was a big thing.

Here (In Your Arms) was a single that was released by the American pop band Hellogoodbye. It was released on the 14th May 2006 on the record label of Drive-Thru. The songwriter of the track was the band member Forrest Kline and it even states his dog as well. The track comes from the album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! which was also released the same year.

The song did really well in the charts and went into the top 10 in Belgium (7), Ireland (2), UK (4) and even the US (3). The song did really well in fact, it went silver certified in the UK and Platinum in the USA.

I really liked this song, it had a really unusual musical composition and a really catchy chorus. Even now it really stands out and is a great track.
