Tell Us About
Your latest single you have released:
My latest single “small towns”
Your favourite song to play live:
My favorite song to play live is “By The Way” By the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I play that song with my band every show we play and it’s such a fun song to perform.
Your most emotional track:
The song that speaks to me emotionally is “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. Bruno is one of my favorite artists and I’ve always loved that song since I was a kid.
The best lyric you have ever written:
I think the best lyric I’ve ever written is “Come on over, nice to meet you. Stay awhile and hear the music. I’m playin with my band on Saturday night.”
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
Every time I walk on the stage for a show I start to get a little nervous, but the second I start to play that feeling goes away. That gets replaced with adrenaline and every time I play with my band, it feels surreal playing live.
The hardest track to play live:
The hardest track that I’ve played live was when I performed “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” with my band, and I played drums and sang the song.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Some items I always bring with me to my live shows are my Shure wireless ear monitoring system, earplugs, a microphone and I make sure to always bring water or something to hydrate myself.
Describe your fans in three words:
Amazing, Energetic and Inspiring
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
A song I wish I had written is “Somebody to Love” By Queen, because the music, the lyrics and everything about the song is perfect.
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
My band and I are graduating from High School in June, which means we are going to play a numerous amount of shows the rest of the year. We also will come out with EP’s and albums in the future. Our future shows upcoming are at The Mint and the Whiskey A Gogo for the Heartbeats Fundraiser.
