Too Little Too Late – JoJo
Today we head back to the early noughties to have a look at a single by American pop singer JoJo called Too Little Too Late. The track that we are looking at today is defined as a mixture of the genres pop and R&B which was a ‘power ballad.’
Too Little Too Late was released the 24th July 2006, it was written by Billy Steinburg, Josh Alexander and Ruth-Anne Cunningham. The track was from the album The High Road and was released under the record label of Blackground, Universal and Da Family.
The track was written two years before it was released and in that time the song was considered being offered to The Pussycat Dolls. In the end, JoJo decided to keep it to show how much she had ‘matured’ since her last album.
Too Little Too Late received a lot of positive reviews from the critics. The track also did really well in the charts and went with the top ten in many countries including Canada (4), Ireland (2), New Zealand (5), UK (4) and the US (2) to name a few.
