Forgotten Songs! – This Week – Go To Work

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.


Go To Work – Nadine Coyle

Today we are going to look at a song that was released as a solo track when Girls Aloud broke up and they all went on different ventures. Today we look at a song by none other then Nadine Coyle.

Go To Work was released on the 8th September 2017, it was produced by Xenomania and Commands and was released on the record label Virgin EMI. The song was initially teased on Nadine’s Twitter account.

The song did not make the top 40, instead it went into the charts at number 57 in the UK Download Charts. Even though the single did not chart, it was welcomed with many positive reviews.

I had never heard this song until recently and I can understand why it got positive reviews as it has a catchy dance track, however I can also understand why it did not chart well in the UK as there was a lot of songs that sounded similar at the time,
