STRAWBERRY WATERMELON SLUSHIE

Today we are heading to McDonald’s in America to have a look at a specialised drink that was introduced in a collaboration with another company.

In May 2021, McDonald’s announced that they were teaming up with the company Minute Maid to create a brand new drink called a Strawberry Watermelon Slushie. The drink was released for summer to allow customers to cool down in the heat. The slushie joins the other drinks available by Minute Maid including Blue Raspberry and Pink Lemonade.

The drink combines the Minute Maid juice with crushed ice to make the slushie. There are three sizes that the drink can come in – the smallest drink is 190 calories and a large one is 330 calories.

The drink has positive reviews and is described as sweet tasting and good for a summers day.
