Finding a place to eat lunch or dinner in a new location can be difficult. Most of the time, i tend to wing it and just go with somewhere that looks nice but sometimes, especially if you have limited time, I look online for recommendations and it is exactly how I found The Mustard Seed. I discovered the great reviews, booked it and then 40 minutes later I was in the restaurant.
The Mustard Seed is located on the waterfront of Inverness on Fraser Street – it is about a ten minute walk from the train station. It is open daily for lunch (12-2:30pm) and dinner (5pm – 9:15pm). I would recommend booking prior as it is very popular. When I visited the establishment it was at lunch time.
The menus are a set selection which change every few weeks. There is something for everyone and is made using local producer. For a starter and a min at lunch it is £15.95 and at dinner it changes to A La Carte. There is also a vegan menu available as well.
I really enjoyed the food at The Mustard Seed and it is not surprising to see why they have won many awards. I would say if you are in the area of Inverness make time to visit this restaurant.
