  • It cost $200,000 to get the rights to use the Law & Order (1990) chimes for the “Day 1-7” title cards.
  • The flash forward scene with Stephen Merchant imagining he murders his wife and ends up in jail was thought up by Owen Wilson.
  • Hall pass isn’t a commonly used expression outside of the USA so in many international markets this was called “Free Pass”.
  • Although filmed in Atlanta, Georgia the film is based in Providence, Rhode Island like other Farrelly Brothers films.
