There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

World Hold On – Bob Sinclair

Today we look at a track that was a catchy dance track in the mid noughties that you may remember. I heard it for the first time in years the other day and I forgot how catchy it was. World, Hold On (Chilldren of the Sky) was a track that was released by French producer Bob Sinclair.

The single was released on the 17th April 2006, it was written by Bob Sinclair, Steve Edwards and Michael Tordjman and was released under the record labels of Yellow Productions and Defected. The track featured the vocals of House singer Steve Edwards. The song was the second track to be released off of the album Western Dream that was also released that year as well.

The single did really well in the charts and went to the top spot in Hungary, Belgium, Poland, Romania and the US Dance Club chart. The song did really well in the United Kingdom and went to number 1 in the UK Indie charts. In the official UK singles chart it went to number 9.

It is one of those songs that when you hear it, the jingle throughout makes you tap you feet and sing along as it is really catchy.
