Tell us about:
Your latest single you have released:
The two latest singles are Queen of The Night – an R&B Mashup of the Queen of The Night Aria from Mozart’s The Magic Flute and the ballad No More Tears written and performed with Thomas Archinal. Most of the ballads are accompanied by piano in cooperation with Carolina Melisa Gonzalez. No More Tears is the first ballad with guitar.
Your first single and how you felt when it was released:
The first ballad Wild Storm was released 2021 and I remember being very excited about it. This song laid the foundation of my cooperation with Carolina. The music video, which was filmed by Bartek Latosinski and edited by myself, is a product of 24 hours.
I am very proud of this production.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
Oh, this is a very difficult question. My favourite is often the latest one. But I have a strong emotional bond to Wild Storm and I thought ‘coz these melodies were written at younger age and they accompanied me for a while.
From the newest ones I like No More Tears very much for it’s peaceful art. But I also like the very emotional ones like I thought.
So I actually I do not have something like the one ultimate favourite, only two groups, the more favourites and the less favourites.
I think one of the most beautiful ballads, Broken, is coming in December.
Your favourite song to play live:
I really love singing I thought due to the mentioned emotional bond.
The song that was the longest to write and why?
It is actually Broken, which is not yet released.
We were working with Carolina on the arrangement for a while. I cut the first recording several times and made several versions, transposing here and there, playing Frankenstein until I thought I got the best version of the song. We also changed transitions between parts. So, this song had to ripen with time, I guess.
Your most emotional track:
So far released I thought but Broken is going to be the most emotional one on the album.
The best lyric you have ever written:
Puh, seriously I can’t judge this myself. We would have to ask the fans, once the album is released
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
I am always very nervous an hour prior to the performance, but as soon as the curtain falls, I seem to forget everything and I am overwhelmed with joy, when the music starts, somehow a little like being in trance forgetting everything around me.
The hardest track to play live:
Since I am a singer, the hardest ballads to sing live are going to be „Shadows“ due to tricky changes of tone or Broken due to emotional intensity and also changes of tone. Both songs are not released yet.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
My laptop, a book and an extra blanket to keep me warm.
Describe your fans in three words:
Loyal, thankful and supporting.
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
Regarding ballads Through The Valley from Shawn James, Regarding R&B No more Drama from Mary J. Blige.
What we can look forward to from you in 2023:
