Listed! – This Week – Bad Habits

Welcome to the feature where every fortnight we will explore different topics that are listed in the book A List A Day by Paperchase. They range from food, music and travel to really random topics so I thought it wold be a fun one to talk about throughout the year!

Today’s List: Bad Habits

Everyone has things that they find are bad habits – you know, I am not talking about what you do but what others do in public situations that is not very nice. Well today we are going to look at some bad habits that I am not a fan of.

One thing I am really not a fan of is spitting. it is truly horrible when you walk past someone in the street and they spit on the floor. I think the worst ones is when people (especially at places like a bus stop or station) do not pay attention to others and decide to really make a show of the said spit – you know the people, that let it release slowly and then make a real show of it coming out – it is absolutely disgusting.

Eating with Mouth Open

Now don’t get me wrong, not everyone is perfect and if someone starts to talk with food in their mouth and they forget then I am not going to moan about that. However, if someone does start to do it continuously and realise that they are eating then that becomes a problem – it becomes hard to hear what the person is saying and all you do is focus on the food in their mouth then the talking.

Covid Etiquette

You would of thought after a pandemic and lots of lockdowns people would be more conscious as to how there are in public but there are still people who haven’t really changed. I do not want to really go into detail but like those who sneeze with their mouth not covered, wipe germs on handles etc the list goes on.

Listed! Will return in 2023.
