Every Sunday we are taking a look at the world of books. I read a lot and always want to share my opinions on what I read, so I thought it would be fun to write reviews. Today we are going to look at the second book in Clarkson’s farm series.
Diddly Squat: ‘Til The Cows Come Home (2022)
Jeremy Clarkson
Synopsis
The seeds are being sown, the soil turned, the farm shop restocked – that’s right, it’s time for another riotous trip to Diddly Squat Farm with farmer-in-progress Jeremy Clarkson . . .
Welcome back to Clarkson’s Farm.
– from Waterstones
Positive Points
This book is really easy to get into, if you are a fan of the television show Clarkson on the Farm then you will enjoy this as it is the continuation. The chapters are articles that he has written for The Sun so it means that you can always come back to the book as and when you please as it will not disturb the reading flow.
Negative Points
The book just does not feel long enough – I felt like the book could of gone on longer as I felt there was so many more stories that could of come out of the farm – maybe it will wait until the show
Overall Review
I would say that if you are a fan of the television show Clarkson on the Farm, then you should definitely read this before the new season starts. I found that last time I felt a bit like I was re watching the television show when I read this and wanted to get ahead of the game and I am so happy that I did. I was allow to enjoy it in my own way and it felt more like a story instead of remembering what i saw in the show.
