2/9/2022 – Tissues, Yungblud
Yungblud released his new album and straight off the bat the single Tissues stood out to me. I did not listen to this song until the album came out and it was exciting to see where it was situated on the album. It is a really fun track and it is a great album to sit on.
3/9/2022 – Im In Love With You, The 1975
They are a band that I don’t usually listen to, however, this song came on my New music playlist and it caught my attention straight away at it is pretty unique. I do not know if it is a song I will listen to on a regular basis but it was a nice change.
4/9/2022 – Don’t you Worry – Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Shakira
This was a song I did not know existeed until it popped up on my new music playlist. It is a track that has a really catchy dance element to it that also makes it uplifting and a fun track to listen to. It has different elements to it that make it a interesting song to listen to and one that you cannot help but tap your toe to.
6/9/2022 – Bigger Than Me – Louis Tomlinson
I have always liked Louis Tomlinson’s solo music and I find that this return to music is a great one and I find this track a really catchy one and always find myself listening to it. It is a bit like a balllad with a very uplifting chorus. I like Louis music because it is individual, he is not trying to be like Harry Styles, he is bringing his own unique style.
10/9/2022 – Take This Crown – Dewayne Good Charlotte
Good Charlotte have done many collaborations this month and one of them is with none other then De’Wayne. This song takes maybe a while to grow on you but when you start to like it, you will find that the chorus will stick with you. It is a song that I like to call a slow burner as the first part of the song takes a while to get going but once it does, it becomes really catchy, fun and dramatic.
11/9/2022 – No More Sad Songs, Little Mix, Machine Gun Kelly
This was a week where I had to deal with a lot of sad editing due to the Queen passing away. This meant that I wanted to surround myself with happy songs so that it would naturally keep me uplifted. This was one of the songs on the playlist I created and I completely forgot that Machine Gun Kelly did a collaboration with Little Mix so that was a nice suprise.
13/9/2022 Forget Me , Lewis Capaldi
This was the week that Lewis Capaldi returned to the music scene with a brand new track. It took me a while to start liking his music but now I quite like a few of them. This was on of those tracks that instantly grew on me when I heard it and instantly liked. It is a catchy track with a fun little chorus.
16/9/2022 – No Future? Yeah Right, YMAS feat Rou Reynolds, Enter Shikari
I quite like this song as it has the right amount of heavy guitars, electronica and great lyrics to make it a catchy track. It is a real classic track that sort of has echoes and essences of the early 2010’s and if you listen to tracks from this time you will notice a similarity.
