Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. LAYS CHEETOS CHEESE CHIPS
The one thing that I have learnt about writing this article since 2017, is that in America a common trend is to remix items or flavours or brands together to create a new ideology or product. Today we are going to look at a flavour of crisp that came on the market in 2021 that remixed two varieties of crisp together.
About a year ago, Lays wanted to do something a bit different, they wanted to collaborate with crisp flavours that already existed to make a new flavour Lay – yes you heard that correctly and yes that may be confusing so let me explain.Today we are looking at Lay’s Cheetos Cheese Chips which take the flavour of the popular crisp but instead of the texture that you are used to. This means that you still get the cheesey flavour but it is in a standard crisp style. The chips were available for a limited time and were part of a range which also included Funyuns Onion Chips and Doritos Cool Ranch. They were available at the store Target in both individual bags and multipacks.
The chips have a really positive review online as they tasted very similar to Cheetos but the only difference being that it is now on potato and not on a corn based snack.
