Craig David – Rendezvous
He is a musician that is making a very strong comeback in the industry so today I thought it would be fun to look at one of his early singles. I completely forgot this existed until I came across it for the first time in years the other day.
Rendezvous was released by musician Craig David on the 19th March 2001, it was final single to be released from his debut album Born To Do It. The track was written by Craig David and Mark Hill and was released under the record labels of Wildstar and Atlantic.
The track did well in the UK making it into the top 10 at number 8 and number 2 in the UK Hip Hop / R&B chart. It also charted in the top 10 in other countries as well including Australia in the Urban chart (9), Belgium (3) and the Netherlands (2).
I find it a shame that I forgot about this track because it is really a lovely little song, it is pretty catchy and has a good chorus line to it. It really defines the early years of Craig David and his sound and that is why it was fun to hear again.
