OREO APPLE PIE
There is one thing that I always enjoy writing about and and is about the flavors of Oreo that are on offer in America. Today we look at another tasty treat by the brand and this time it brings in the world of dessert.
In 2018, it was announced that Oreo were going to release a traditional flavour, Apple Pie Oreo. The cookie flavour was set to be a limited edition and was sold in Target for $3. Each cookie was a graham cracker style biscuit filled with a light brown colour apple flavouring. For 2 cookies it would be 140 calories.
From looking at the reviews online, there are a few comments that stand out. Apparently they smelt strongly of graham crackers and there was no visible scent of apple or cinnamon. When you went to taste the Oreo, the apple flavour was overwhelming which meant that the pie flavour was lost as it was very sweet and lacked spices.
