Hello! Tell us about yourself?

Hello, I’m Morgan, i am comedian and writer from Merthyr Tydfil in the welsh valleys.

How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the fringe?

It was my made-up Drag name

Tell us all about your show!

My show is mainly just an hour of gags and short stories. All told through the vehicle of a coming out story, which touches on growing up with a feeling of others, and lack of role models. An the journey of raising your awareness once you come out

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Rhys Nicholson, Josh Jones, Jamie D’Souza, Jake Lambert, Catherine Cohen and Josh Pugh.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I have done three split bills before at free fringe venues. Pace yourself and HAVE FUN!!! It’s an arts festival, not an industry showcase.

What have been some of your favourite shows to date and why?

My favourite show ever was Henry Paker’s Man Alive. Every show i write will endeavor to leave the audience with the same feeling of elation i did leaving Henry’s show. Superb observational comedy, and with a powerful heart of a show. Joyous

Favourite one liner you have done in a show and why?

I meant my boyfriend on the Gay app, Pinterest.

I like it because its my shortest gag and always works

What three items are essential for a successful Fringe?

Tooth paste, condoms and self-awareness

What is the best way to enjoy yourself at the fringe?

Eat well, rest and catch up with colleagues you wouldn’t usually see.

The best thing about performing at the fringe?

The ability to do an hour show so consistently. It really builds you up for the next year.

The most challenging thing about performing at the fringe?

Being away from home, and the monomemny of being in one place for so long. Usually comedians are feral and everywhere.

What would be your top three items every performer must take to the fringe?

Underwear, blue tac and pens

what’s the secret to successful flyering?

Get dumped before the fringe, that way you’re already accustomed to rejection

Who would be your ultimate dream audience member?

Everyone that likes dirty jokes, doesn’t heckle and loves tipping.
