Forgotten Songs! – This Week – She Said

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

She Said – Plan B

Today we are going to look at a track that was incredibly popular and it was one of those songs that was always on the radio. Today we look at a single by the British musician Plan B.

She Said was the second single to be released off of Plan B’s second album called The Defamation of Strickland Banks. It was released on the 24th February 2010, it was written by Ben Drew and produced by Ben, David McEwan and Eric Appapoulay. The song was released under the record labels of 679 and Atlantic.

The track did really well in the UK charts and went in at number 3 in the UK charts and number 1 in the R&B charts. It also did well internationally and went into the top 20 in Austria (9), Belgium (18), Denmark (20), Germany (10), Ireland (2) and Switzerland (16).

I liked this track, it was a real ,ix of musical composition and also it sort of defines the style of music that was becoming increasingly popular in the early 2010’s. It was one of those tracks that even if you were not a fan you would like because it was played so much that it would become like an earworm that you would find yourself singing along at some point.
