Air Guitar – McBusted

Supergroups can sometimes be a really fun and exciting thing and when two of your favourite bands decide to merge together for a huge tour it can lead to some exciting things. McFly and Busted are constantly being compared to one another due to them all being friends and also for the fact that Tom originally auditioned to be in the band Busted. Today we look at the world of McBusted and one of their singles. 

Air Guitar was the debut single by this particular supergroup, the song came around due to the huge support they received when they all went on tour together. The single was released on the 23rd November 2014, it was written by Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, James Bourne and Steve Robson. The track was produced by Steve Robson and Jason Perry and released under the record label of Island. 

The single did really well in the United Kingdom and went to number 1 in the physical charts and number 16 in the download. It also went to number 14 in the Scottish charts and 12 in the UK top 40. 

I liked this song, I found this track incredibly catchy and it was really easy to learn the lyrics and sing along. It was good fun to see what sort of music these two bands would release together and it did not disappoint.
