All this month we are chatting to Rachel Thorn, someone that you may recognise as they have written many articles for us in the past. Rachel is heading to the Brighton Fringe this month with her team Mates which we will spoke about the other week. To end off our interview we are doing a traditional quick fire round.
If you could have any three people (dead or alive) over for dinner – who would they be?
Can I have three past and future versions of myself? Or would that be beyond awful?
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
Be your own wind keeper, Rachel E. Thorn!
Marmite – love of hate?
I’d actually forgotten it exists! Have I even ever eaten it?
Do you have any pets?
Nah. I have improv.
If you could be from any other decade (or era), which would it be?
Please can I be a Jane Austen character? But a rich one, obv.
If you had to have a tattoo to represent improv what would you have and why?
I really don’t fancy getting a tattoo, so can I have one that’s licked on by kittens?
Favourite TV show?
Mum. It is so beautifully written and so delicately performed.
What’s on your music playlists right now?
I prefer to listen to Radio 4! Honestly. But it happens to us all. My current love is the sitcom Teatime. Another great example of taking characters and gently escalating them just past plausibility.
Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Er, me! Isn’t that why I went to drama school?
If you had one superpower, what would it be?
Easy – flying. I can’t really believe I can’t do that!
