When you got to a new city you want to really appreciate it for the culture and the history and sometimes you want a hotel that will allow you to feel part of the story. Well, if you ever find yourself in Perth, Scotland then the Mercure may be something that you will want to check out.
The Mercure Perth is situated right in the centre of town, about a 15 minute walk from the train station and local busses very close by as well. The hotel is very close to the restaurants, the shops and tourist attractions such as Perth Museum and the Art Galleries.
So why should you stay in this hotel? Well the one thing that made it pretty interesting is that it was a watermill built in the 15th Century and when you visit the reception and the bar there are places where you can still see the water flowing through underneath.
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the staff are friendly, the location is really ideal and it makes your stay in Perth a special one.
