Rhinoceros Improv Month – INTERVIEW- Catwoman, Stopping Time and Fleabag

All this month we are talking to Rhinoceros Improv about the world of comedy and shows. The team have been around for 3.5 years and this year they have got lots of shows planned including their Rhinoceros’ Big Friday monthly event at the North London Tavern, Kilburn. It happens every last Friday of the month and features improv, character comedy, sketch and clowning.

In our last week of talking to the troupe, I challenge Philippa Peacock, the founder of the team to take on the traditional Quick Fire round

If you could be any animal what would it be and why?

A bird. I’d love to fly without having to eat those awful in-flight meals and squeeze my arse into those tiny toilets. Gawd knows how anyone has sex in there.

Who is your favourite super hero and why?

Cat woman. I love the outfit and definitely need a whip.

If a movie was made of your life what genre would it be, who would play you?

Tragicomedy. Played by Diane Keaton.

If you could go any where in the world where would you go and why?

Santa Barbra beach. Because I went there about 20 years ago and it was dreamy. I love the sea and sun and they have really lovely flip-flops.

What would you do with your “15 minutes” of fame?

Stop time.

What is one item you could NEVER live without?

My Dyson cordless.

Last time you laughed very hard out loud?

Watching Woody Allen’s movie A Rainy Day In New York. One particular line where a guy says to the girl. “I’d like to take you to the South of France” girl replies “The where or of what”?

What is your favorite movie quote?

“Hair is everything, we wish it wasn’t so we can actually think about something else occasionally, but it is”. Phoebe Waller-Bridge – Fleabag (of course).
