Tell Us about:
Your first single and how you felt when it was released:
Our first release was called “Start Again”, and yeah it was pretty exciting. We didn’t really put it out there, and sort of caught on with some companies which was great.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
We haven’t done an album yet. But for an EP track that wasn’t single, it would have to be “Some People Tell lies”, from our 1996 EP.
Your favourite song to play live:
Won’t Let You Down, it’s a blues western rock number. # Your most emotional track:Some People Tell Lies or Start Again.
The best lyric you have ever written:
I think for our next release, which is called ‘Losing Ourselves”, the lyrics work really well with the music.
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
I think it’s always excitement and a slight bit of nerves. But you have to use those nerves to bring the performance.
The hardest track to play live:
I think the hardest we had to place live was one called, Apocolypse. However, we haven’t released it yet
Describe your fans in three words:
Regular Normal People
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
Lue by Bright Eyes. I’m big Bright Eyes fan and think there lyrics are great.
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
We have a whole heap of new songs lined up that we are about to release and we are quite excited about. We feel like our sound has developed a lot since our last release, so we are damn keen to get the songs out there.
