When you go to Copenhagen , there is one place that you have to visit and that is the iconic Tivoli Gardens. It is a place that has been open since 1843 and has always been a location that has always been renowned. Tivoli Gardens is located at Vesterbrogade 3, right opposite the train station, so it is pretty easy to find as a tourist. Before you go to visit, be sure to check the opening times, especially post covid times. depending on what time you visit will depend on what theme is being displayed throughout the park. Big events include Christmas, Easter and Halloween.
The park is hone to a variet of rides and gardens, some of the rides include Tik Tak, a spinning sensation, The Swing Carousel, The Milky Way Express, The Camel Trail , The lighthouse and the iconic and most popular ride the Rollercoaster.
Tivoli Gardens is also home to a range of shops as well including Ballonhurset for balloons, Harlekin souvenir shp, the LEGO store, Illums Bolighus (Danish Design0 and Skatterkisten (jewelry) just to name a few. There is also a lot of places to eat and drink.
I visited Tivoli Gardens in February of 2020. It was beautiful and it still had lights and decoration to celebrate Christmas, It was a wonderful place, it is one of those places that you need to visit more then once to really experience it.
