Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
ARBY’S SMOKEHOUES BRISKET
Today we look at a food item that is available on the Arby’s menu, it is a fast food restaurant that has over 3,000 locations and is apparently the second largest sandwich chain in the United States. One of the main items that they are known for is called the Smokehouse Brisket.
The Brisket used in the sandwich is smoked for at least 13 hours in a pit smoker. The Brisket is sliced and topped with smoked gouda, onions, mayonnaise and BBQ sauce. The mixture is presented on an artesian style role. The sandwich is approximately 600 calories and can be purchased for $7.69.
There are many reviews online and most of them are mainly mixed with some people praising the flavour and others disagreeing.
