When you go to visit France, and a place that is as beautiful as Biarritz, you want a hotel to stay in that puts you in a location that is easy to access the town as well as allows you to get some great views and be within walking distance of the sites, well look no further as today we discuss one of the hotels that I stayed in when I went to Biarritz in 2018.
Today we look at the Radisson Blu, a hotel that is located at 1 Carr d’Hélianthe, 64200 Biarritz, which is about a 10 – 15 minute walk from the town centre up huge hill. It is located near the Seafront Cote des Basques which is known for it’s beaches and surfing. It is short walk away from some of the tourist attractions of the city including Rocher de la Vierge, La Grande Plage and Casino Barriere.
The hotel is home to some great amenities such as a swimming pool, a roof top bar and restaurants. When I was staying I didn’t have enough time to test out these facilities but they have good reviews online. They have a variety of rooms available as well from Standard all the way up to a Suite with Ocean views. Prices depend on what you book and how far in advance and season.
I only stayed in this hotel for one night but I found that it was really helpful when exploring Biarritz as it is really near the centre. It may be up quite a steep hill but it means that at night you get an amazing sunset. Also, the benefits of being at the top is that you are in a quieter location of the town meaning that you do not get much noise outside. There is a beach opposite that is a bit of a walk down a steep slope but the views are amazing.
