Today we are heading to Dijon to look at a restaurant that I went to a couple of times when I was on holiday around Christmas of 2019. We found the food so tasty that we ended up returning to the location more then once. It may of changed since then but going to have a look at the place and reflect on the food and experiences I had.
Le Palazzio is a pizza restaurant that is situated at 18Place de la République, Dijon, France, it is about a 20 minute walk from the train station but about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Dijon, there is also a tram stop right outside that is called République. The restaurant is open six days a week and is closed on Mondays.
So why should you visit this restaurant? Well the main reason is because the food is incredibly tasty. There are many options available on the menu for really reasonable prices. Some of the food on offer includes Tagliatelle alla carbonara, Risotto with chicken and asparagus, Caeser Salad and Burrata. The star of the show is the pizzas and they have a lot of different flavours on offer. When you walk through the door you are welcomed with the chef in front of you tossing up pizza dough. Some of the flavours include Palazzio Deluxe (Tomatoes, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms, olives), Palerme (Tomato, Mozzarella, spinach, aubergine, olives and parmesan) and even your classic Magartia.
I really enjoyed the food in this restaurant as it was really tasty and enjoyable. Most of the staff are incredibly friendly and it is a lovely place to have a pizza and if you are in Dijon, I recommend a visit!
