I Need Air – Magnetic Man

Today we look at a single that was a hit on the UK Dance scene back in 2010. It was a song that could be defined as the genre of Dubstep and released by the electronic music project Magnetic Man. It was also the debut single from the musician as well.

I Need Air was released the 23rd July 2010, it was written by Arthur Smith, Angela Hunte, Beni Adejumo and Oliver Jones. The track featured the vocals of Angela Hunte. The song did relatively well in the charts, it went to number 3 in the UK Dance chart, number 5 in Belgium and number 13 in Denmark. It ended up at number 131 in the UK year if end charts.

My friend introduced me to this song when I was starting to listen ever so slightly to dubstep. The song was pretty catchy and had a really electronic sound to it.
