Tell Us about:
Your latest single you have released:
I recently released two singles from my upcoming Eclectic album. It’s a double sided album with 2 genres so I release one single from both sides. They are two of my favorites. Still Got it” the Hip-hop singles is catchy, and definitely represents me as an artist. Down to the flow and cadence. The beat made it easy for me. I Miss You on the other hand, the beat had a few different elements that made me want/have to switch it up a couple times throughout the song. Which was a fun process.
Your first single and how you felt when it was released:
When the singles were released I was excited. I had a new seasoned team along with new resources that assured me it would be one of my biggest releases.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
My favorite song however is my next single called Bugatti featuring DC Young Fly. It show cases some of my more lyrical abilities and gives my fans a window of what’s to come.
Your favourite song to play live:
My favorite song to perform is definitely my previous single titled “Smoke”.
Your most emotional track:
My most emotional track is titled “Midtro” which is the half way marker on my album. It talks about some of the deep trials and trauma I had to endure on my journey.
The best lyric you have ever written:
Honestly the best lyric I’ve ever written is an entire verse. It’s the introduction song titled “The Start” on my previous album titled “Fallen Angel”.
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
At first I still get a little nervous because I don’t know the audience but I am quickly adjusted because my music always seems to grab the initial attention. Then its up from there.
The hardest track to play live:
My hardest song to perform live is definitely “No Escape”. Mainly because in the studio the recording took a little longer to get right because of the style of singing I was doing, but it is still my favorite RnB song of mine.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Definately my computer and camera. I need to be prepared for any new work that comes my way and capture everything that happens.
Describe your fans in three words:
Obsessed, Understanding, Loyal. My fans don’t only enjoy listening to my music but most if not all make it a point to tell me that I am their favorite artist ever. Which is extremely motivation to me to keep delivering quality.
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
I wish I had written the song “Blame It” by Jamie Foxx. It is very similar to the type of vocal effects I like to use and the same style of music I try to make.
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
My fans should look forward to what I plan to be a complete take over. I want to shake up the industry. Similar to the Young Money Era. All my efforts are to make sure it happens. My “Ec-lec-tic” album will be released in the next couple months with an incredible track list if I can say so myself.
