In The Games Corner – MEMORY CARD EDITION – Farming In Realtime…

Welcome to the sister article to In The Games Corner that is about computer games but with a different spin. I have been playing computer games from a very young age and I find that some games when I think of them are attached to very strong memories. So, I thought it would be fun to share memories that I have attached to some of these games as there are a few. I wanted to call this feature Memory Card because a lot of my memories that i have strongly are around the Playstation 1 and there will be a few around that particular card. Today we take a look at Farming Simulator 19

Sometimes you want to play something that is a bit different to your normal game play. I find that discounts on the Playstation Store are a fantastic way to allow yourself to do this and it also allows you to find new games too. Sometimes I find that this leads to purchasing something that you would not normally buy. A game that I bough on a whim was none other then the Farming Simulator.

There is a lot of varieties of the game and I have Farming Simulator 19. The game is basically doing what it says on the box – you spend then time on the game building a farm, growing crops and looking after animals.

It is a lot slower then other games on the Playstation and unlike other games it is played in real time – you do everything in the real time you cannot skip anything. Whilst this may be refreshing as an approach to a game, it can also be pretty irritating as well as you want things sometimes to move a bit quicker.

It is a game that I would not normally play but during lockdown when outside activity was restricted it was sort of a breath of fresh air to do something ‘outside’ and felt like the sort of normality that I needed. It is not a bad game but it is a game That I hardly play anymore but has taught me to appreciate these simulation games.
