Tell Us About:
Your latest single you have released:
All I Need is a mixture between a love song and an anti war song. I wrote it when I was 18 and I inspired by the beautiful song ‘Willie McBride’
Your first single and how you felt when it was released:
When my first single was released last year (‘Fishpond’) it was along the moment exciting things I’ve ever done. I had been waiting so long to release music but never knew how, so to be able to give my followers a way to listen in a different way to live was brilliant.
Your favourite song to play live:
It changes but I’m really enjoying a new song I’ve written called ‘Falling in love for the day’ . It seems to get into the minds of any crowd quite quickly.
Your most emotional track:
I think ‘All I Need’ is the most emotional track of mine released. There’s a lot going on in the story.
The best lyric you have ever written:
So I’m told it’s ‘Money never made us laugh and money never made you mine’ from ‘All I Need’.
Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:
Terrified but once I get started it disappears.
Essential items you always take on tour with you?
Brian my guitar case and pal.
Describe your fans in three words:
Full blooded. Passionate. Up for it.
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
England’s Motorway by Ewan McColl
What we can look forward to from your band this year:
I’m the lead in a film next year called ‘Love Without Walls’ about a struggling singer songwriter who falls on hard times. The soundtrack to the movie is all of my own songs so I’m delighted that it’ll be out in 2022.
