Great DJ – The Ting Tings
Today we look at a single that was released by English Indie pop band The Ting Tings, The single Great DJ was released the 3rd March 2008, it was written by Jules De Mortino and Kate White. It was also released under the record label of Columbia.
The single Great DJ wasa re-released as a Double A side with the single That’s Not My Name. When the song originally was released it did not chart. However when it was released as part of the double A sided single it did well. The song also samples sounds from Eddie Money’s track Baby Hold On.
This is one of those songs that is pretty catchy, it has a really dominant drum bed and a really catchy chorus. It is a track which has a really unique and different sound to the others,
