• Serena Van der Woodsen from Gossip Girl (2007) makes a cameo as a player’s avatar who gets points for brutality. The player was played by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds’ real-life wife.
• Jodie Comer admitted that the hardest part for her was to pretend to hate Taika Waititi, because they got along very well on the set.
• The high-end sports cars, tanks, helicopters, motorcycles, etc., in the various strongholds are all real and had to be carefully protected from typical film crew wear and tear. At the end of filming the helicopter flew away directly from the studio.
