This time last year we took a look at a completely different angle at the subject of food in the USA. Well this year for December we are bringing the special feature back! Food isn’t something you can just eat, it is also something you can now wear, use or even have it as a scent. One of the most crazy things I think I have seen myself was when I was in Chicago airport, and there was Bacon flavored toothpaste. Since that day in 2011 I’ve been fascinated with what else is out there. So this month I thought we would look at some more of the unusual products on the market.

PIZZA HUT PIE TOP II SNEAKERS

Have you ever felt that your shoes are not ‘tech’ enough? Have you ever wanted them to do things such as order pizza? Well, in 2018, there were a pair of sneakers that were released that would be right up your street! In 2018, Pizza Hut released a second version of their Pie Top Sneakers as part of an advertising campaign for March Madness. (March Madness is related to the baseball season.)

So what makes these shows so special – you can actually order a pizza from Pizza Hut with them. You press a button on the tongue that connects to your phone via blue tooth to make an order. That is not the only tech related thing, they can also do tech things such as connect to your television and change the channels!
