This time last year we took a look at a completely different angle at the subject of food in the USA. Well this year for December we are bringing the special feature back! Food isn’t something you can just eat, it is also something you can now wear, use or even have it as a scent. One of the most crazy things I think I have seen myself was when I was in Chicago airport, and there was Bacon flavored toothpaste. Since that day in 2011 I’ve been fascinated with what else is out there. So this month I thought we would look at some more of the unusual products on the market.

You would think that fizzy drinks go hand in hand with summer but one thing that you don’t really expect is a beverage to release their own swimwear. Well, in 2018 that is exactly what La Croix decided to do. Before we get started, let’s have a look at what La Croix actually is. La Croix is an American brand of sparkling water that comes in a variety of flavours including plum, black raspberry, guava and key lime just to name a few as they are constantly updating their flavours.

In 2018, La Croix released a brand of swimsuits in all different colours including pink, blue, green and yellow. The designs of the swimsuits are based on the colours of the iconic packaging. They represent the La Croix flavours pamplemousse, lime, lemon, passionfruit, pure and cran-raspberry.

The swimming costumes can be bought online for $49.50, they also do a mix of female and male versions as well.
