This time last year we took a look at a completely different angle at the subject of food in the USA. Well this year for December we are bringing the special feature back! Food isn’t something you can just eat, it is also something you can now wear, use or even have it as a scent. One of the most crazy things I think I have seen myself was when I was in Chicago airport, and there was Bacon flavored toothpaste. Since that day in 2011 I’ve been fascinated with what else is out there. So this month I thought we would look at some more of the unusual products on the market.

RED LOBSTER FANNY PACK

In May of 2019, Red Lobster released a product to celebrate National Biscuit Day with a Limited Edition release – a fanny pack. One of Red Lobster’s most popular items is their Cheddery Bay Biscuits and they can be also delivered to your door by delivery as well.

On the National Day of Biscuits, they released a fanny pack that can stay insulated to specifically keep your savoury biscuits warm. It was a unique design with the brand all over the pack so you could show off your purchases in pride whilst also making sure they were still nice and hot when you ate them.

These were an item that you could not buy, instead there was a sweepstake online to win one of these Fanny Packs. All you had to do at the time was tweet Red Lobster and share what you loved most about Cheddar Bay Biscuits. You also had to use the hashtag #CBBSweepstakes as well.

Aroudn the same time, they also had special deals on the Biscuits so that when you purchased a number of them there was a deal.
