Have you ever wanted To listen to a new band or musician and not sure where to start? Well, instead of listening to their commercial music, why not start with something off the album first! All this month we are taking a look back at some of our favourite tracks that came from the record
Nerve
Artist: Nuela Charles
Album: Blissful Madness
This is the opening track on this three track EP and it welcomes you with a punch, this track has a really soulful feel to it with this catchy beat that reels you in. It is a really catchy track that highlights the talents and the emotions of Nuela Charles singing. This song has tones of a classic pop track with some really great alternative undertones. It feels to me that this song has a hint of nostalgia to music that was released in the early noughties that is missing in today’s music world.

Come on in
Artist: Ed Cosens
Album: Fortunes Favour
This is the last track on this album and it is the perfect choice for the finale, as it may be slower then a lot of the tracks but the lyrics sort of symbolise that this is a new start for Ed Cosens and sort of leaves you wanting more from the musician. It is a song full of emotion and these wonderful musical melodies that make you want to listen over and over again. The ending of the track is full of these long drawn out electric sounding piano melodies that slowly fade into the distance and bring the whole album to a brilliant finish.
This Is Not A Utopia
Artist: The Offspring
Album: Let The Bad Times Roll
This is the opening of the album and it is a grand Offspring welcome to this brand new album. The track is punchy with bold lyrics and strong guitar riffs that any Offspring fan will be excited to hear. While the songs lyrics feel quite powerful the song is catchy and has a hint of the nostalgic bands style which remind me of Americana. It is a short track but it is a great one to start the album with and makes you aware that the band are well and truly back with a bang.
